My old Frigidaire ac unit was in its 12th season when it finally gave in last week. We ordered two units to replace it for more airflow on the other side of the house. The new one fit right into the one existing hole and case without any issue. For the other unit we made a new hole in the wall. These units look good. They get the rooms cold quickly and they™€™re surprisingly quiet for this size of a unit (15,000). Much quieter than older models we™€™ve had. Very happy so far.

Pros: Runs well, fairly quiet, good controls, easy WiFi connection.Cons: Gaps around the cabinet are hard to seal. The cabinet is not flat where the side retainers for the window filler panels go. Not enough weather sealing materials or instructions provided.

This is my third Frigidaire AC I've purchased in the past 15 years. They appear to last about 5 years.They do a fantastic job cooling my living space during these extremely hot and muggy south Florida days.I just purchased this newer WIFI version after the previous version (which was discontinued) stopped cooling (lasted 6 years). To me that a great record considering its running 24/7. The WIFI is a major plus as I can program or alter the setting via Alexa.I'm completely happy with my purchase.

This unit works extremely well. The build quality is really good. I like the face that it has adjustable sill supports. This made installation very easy. I really like the fact that the leds turn off after a few seconds. This way you don™€™t have bright lights in a dark room. The unit runs quiet and cools well. The app works great, but I wish it had a schedule feature. The only reason for four stars is because it needs a high cool with auto fan setting.

5 Months!?

Bought my unit in March... It's now august of the same year and the control panel just keeps beeping and switching fan modes on its own. Up until then it was working fine but it's a steep price for only 5 months of cooling in the heat of Florida. And don't bother looking up replacement parts because you can't find any.

This AC has been great in hot Florida summer! It™€™s cooling my large family room and also flows into my kitchen. It™€™s also not loud like my previous AC which is nice. I also like that I can use Amazon Alexa to change temp or turn on and off. The only enhancement I™€™d like would be the Wifi phone app could do a health check like my previous AC did which told me the fan motor failed check.

I purchased this unit to cool the main areas of my home. I have been more than pleased with this purchase. This unit is cooling the the majority of my 1900sqft manufactured home without a problem and it has not run my electric bill up at all. At night I have to turn it off because the house gets too cold. And I live in the houston metropolitan area where we have had triple digit temperatures for the last two months. You can hardly hear the unit running so it does not interfere with watching the television or conversations even if you are sitting right beside the window unit. This unit replaced a lg 15 btu dual inversion window unit that suffered a catastrophic failure that was only 3yrs old. I paid $700+ for the lg unit and lg refused to cover the failure even though their tech said that it was a defect in the compressor line because their warranty is only good for 1 year. This Frigidaire unit only cost me $500 and that includes a 5yr extended warranty. I would recommend this unit hands down!

I purchased this unit in July 23™€™ to replace our aging 13 year old Frigidaire wall mounted unit. This model comes with some convenient features such as the wifi connectivity, energy saving eco mode and easy to use phone App. The rating is for 850sqft but this cools our entire living room dining room and kitchen efficiently which is about 1000sqft, it gets super cold and keeps it at the temperature we set. Great product and would highly recommend.

The unit arrived damaged. One corner (back, top corner) was crushed in. One of the coils was bent slightly. Plugged in a let run for an hour. No leaks!! The face plate was also cracked. Other than that, it works as it should. I was able to pound it back out so no presstwas on condenser. I alerted Frigidaire but, of course I got nothing back. They got their money. Just purchased a Frigidaire chest freezer, hopefully it™€™s not damaged.

This window AC unit is very efficient at cooling down my home within minutes! I have a very open layout in my living room/parlor area which is why I sought this size. I currently live in NYC where the temperatures have been in the 90s with 80% humidity. Moreover I like the smart feature which allows me to control the device from my smartphone. This feature allows me to tuen on the AC when I™€™m on my way home to ensure my home is cool upon my arrival. It does take two person professional assembly.

The 15k BTU AC unit is perfect in fact sometimes it™€™s too good I upgraded from a 5050BTU unit to cover my apartment as my old unit wasn™€™t strong enough I love the unit the only thing that bothered me a tiny bit was the filter sits at a weird way with a bulge bc of the internal little box The AC unit was too big to fit in my window but that was 100% my fault not the company so I removed the window panes and used plywood to make a sorta through the wall installation but through the existing window hole Also for cat owners if you have cats I would recommend keeping the plastic that they have on the power cord in case the cats tend to chew things it adds a little protection but I™€™m sure there are better options maybe you can cut a pool noodle and surround the wire or something like that The AC unit is a 2 Person install my dad helped me install it and was actually the main reason I even got it working because I didn™€™t understand the manual too well luckily at his job he™€™s installed plenty of these style units with the removable cabinet. We installed the empty cabinet first than lifted the rest of the Unit into the cabinet
