Very good AC, although 1st unit delivered to us did not cool, the compressor was faulty. This was discovered after we installed, which was not a simple process. But the replacement unit has been flawless.

bought this unit end of July 2022. Used it seasonal, so Aug and part of Sept 2022. Used it summer of 2023 June - Sept. This year its not working. We used it a total of 6 months and not all day long. We used other AC units at night in the bedrooms. Contacted Frigidaire, they said sorry outside of 1 year warranty period. They offered us a discount on a new unit that was it. How is it that a $650 AC unit only worked a total of 6 months. don't buy their products, they dont last. We got a lemon and they refused to replace it. The unit was properly stored in the winter, with coverage inside and out.

I just replaced some older units of the same model and wow these are just great units. The other units being replaced still work but they're 25 plus years old. The new units are so quiet and I love the fact that I can see the operation of the unit through the app.and that I can just slide out the old units and the new ones slide back in without replacing the casing . I will be buying two more to replace the other two units that are used in classrooms at an Elementary school where I volunteer.

The Best Window Units Going

We have been using Frigidaire window Air Conditioner Units in our outbuildings for more than 15 years I'd say. We have them in greenhouses, shops, and my wife's art studio. They really remove the moisture and we're in the deep south so that relates directly to that great coolness. We are able to keep temperatures down in the most difficult summer heat - all the way down to 68 degrees. Very comfortable!

18,300 btu 15A 220V window unit

My central air went out and I wanted to take my time figuring out what furnace/ac combo I wanted. I had an old 220V 20A unit stored in my garage and it worked, but I noticed if my wife used the oven on a hot day, by evening it was 6 degrees warmer than it was set at. It went out with a week of summer left and I picked this one up for a good end of season price and have not been disappointed. On an 87 degree day with her baking in the morning and afternoon it kept it rock solid even though it was slightly smaller (but more efficient) than my old one.

The uniit's design and operation are improved. I have purchased many Frigidaire a/c units over the years. I have been impressed with this one. Some of the prior units came with a remote temperature sensor that worked quite well. However this model did not come with this feature. The controls do however work quite well and enable efficient operation.

Have only had the unit up and running for a week or so, but works as it should. While you can hear it running, it's not obnoxious and doesn't interfer with conversation. Not sure if the remote is supposed to have an LED on it, or not. Setup for WiFi was a minor nightmare, thus the four stars. Tech support was not that helpful, if at all. Between my son and I we finally got it to work, but don't remember how. The slide out chassis made install much easier and the features are a-plenty!

Looked at the specs before purchasing. Had everything we wanted: Eco mode (shuts off when target temp is reached, fan turns back on now and then to check if it needs to cool some more). Can be controlled with smart phone through wi-fi. Ours is wall mounted 7 feet above floor, not fun getting a ladder to change settings.

The unit does what it is required except for one complaint. The government may mandate that a device must start in economy mode but if a customer wants to change the settings the device should retain the customer settings. Allow an override. This unit is not running 24x7x365 and having the customer change settings every time it is turned on is a unnecessary burden.

Replace older Frigidaire 25,000 BTU AC with this more energy star efficient 18,000 model. Absolutely love it especially with the WIFI app. Weather heat warnings are being issued now (June / July) and I just turn my AC on remotely and set temp and it will cool shop down to reasonable temp so my paints, electronics, and camera network equipment are not affected by extreme heat. I can also set a task in the app for a timer. I wish it had connectivity with Apple Homekit.

We purchased this unit to replace one that was at least 25 years old. It was still working, we believe, but didn™€™t want to take a chance it wouldn™€™t make it through another summer. This unit met our criteria for cooling capacity, efficiency, and slide-out chassis. The WiFi connectivity is a welcome added feature. Although it™€™s still Spring, early use looks like we made a good choice. And being a new unit, the chassis is lighter than the old one, making it easier to maneuver. We always take it in for the winter, so that™€™s a plus also.
