I replaced my old kitchenaid double convection ovens with the new model. I love them just as I loved my old ones. Cooking & baking make my day and this Kitchenaid product makes my year. I purchased this double oven to replace a KITCHENAID DOUBLE CONFECTION OVEN.timer & clock had quit working. The old one was still working, but the door seals were wore out and replacement parts were not available. We the oven was in the house when we bought the house 20 years ago, It was a great product. The new oven developed electronic problems very shortly after it was installed. Kitchenaid fixed it ( to their credit ) but the oven does not cook evenly. The sides cook faster than the middle, even in Confection mode.

High tech all the way

KITCHENAID HAS CHANGED

1976 YELLOW JEEP 5/25/2019

When the oven is warming up it is very noisy. The top oven only has one heating coil and it is on top.It is ok for broiling, but what about baking? The controls are not very intuitive. I do not want to have to have the manual hanging on the oven door handle. I did not know that Whirlpool makes Kitchenaid. I could have saved a lot of money and gotten free installation. :(

Great replacement

Replace a 2001 Kitchenaid Superba 24" double wall oven with this new model. Essentially it is the same oven but is much noisier. You can really hear the fan run in this one over the old one. It also takes much longer to pre- heat. That said, we are really happy with its performance, looks, and function. If you are thinking doing the same replacement, the overall size is exact, so it fit perfect in the cabinet and installation took less than 30 minutes.
