It is so nice to be able to cook a full dinner for my large family at once. For Thanksgiving turkey was in the bottom oven all side dishes were in the top one and everything was done at once.

I bought this oven 5 years ago. We've been decently happy with it until the glass shattered one day. It was totally random. The oven was not on. Had not been used in 4 days. Now I have to pay for a new door since it isn't under warranty anymore. Won't be buying whirlpool anymore.

I love the double ovens; however, after 3 months, the top oven quit. Service was great, however. They came within two days and fixed it.

Bought this oven when my 23 year old Whirlpool oven quit working. Even though I love Whirlpool products, I was hesitant to purchase this as so many reviews stated the oven fan was horribly noisy. Not true!!! Oven is beautiful in the kitchen and there is an extremely soft fan noise--really can't hear the fan! So wonderful to have the bottom heating element covered--easy clean-ups and very nice to be able to fit even my largest pans in both ovens! Love this oven and highly recommend!!!

We purchased this oven when we totally redesigned our kitchen. It sat in the living room for about three weeks before it was installed and when it was finally ready to use about a month ago we really got down to business. We've used all the functions and the best one is the fact that you can set the cooking time on a recipe and the oven will notify you when time is up and the oven will actually turn itself off. No more waking up in the middle of the night wondering if you remembered to turn it off after dinner. We've also used the cleaning feature and it is really easy-peasy.

In reading other reviews before purchase i was very concerned about the fan noise-I use these all the time and I've never heard anything from the fan! If I put my ear flat on the oven I can just barely hear a faint hum, but it is super quiet and barely audible. Sounds like they've made some great engineering upgrades-just wanted to share for anyone else who had the same concerns!

We got this new oven two months ago along with a kitchen full of new Whirlpool products. We are very disappointed.
In our bottom oven (non-convection), the floor of the oven has bumped up, it has lines in it and the porcelain is peeing off. It looks horrible and I am worried about all those porcelain bits floating around the food I am cooking.
This should not happen in a new oven.

we replaced a whirlpool double oven but the size of the new oven is larger so we had to have our cabinets trimmed & electric plug relocated resulting in additional $750 in costs; but not eligible for Fit Kit Promotion because it is a 27" oven; not 30" oven. Every touch on the oven leaves a finger print. Anxious to try the steam clean option.

We replaced our old Hotpoint double oven that was built some time in the 20th century with the new Whirlpool double oven. We didn't expect it to be anything like it is. It is very quiet, heats up quickly and cooks quite evenly. So far it's done everything we hoped it would do with precision and accuracy. IT's not a convection oven, but it does what we thought it should do. We are a Whirlpool family. About 90% of our appliances are Whirlpool products. We hope this oven will live up to its name.

self cleaning feature doesn't work

This was installed in our new home. 4 months in and My oldest child burnt something So I used the self cleaning feature. It not only didn't work but caused the oven to go out. Locked it up and we couldn't open it or anything. They sent a repair guy out 2x and I thought it was finally fixed when I started preparing all my Thanksgiving meals... The Thermostat is not working correctly and now burns the top of the food and leaves the inside uncooked. I cant even cook a simple pizza. .. 4 months old and the repair guy has been out 3x and scheduled to come back. The last guy who was sent out actually told me I couldn't use the self cleaning feature.. really, then Why have it?? He told me The self cleaning option will cause it to go out all the time..... Don't get me started on the matching microwave... This is the biggest junk, Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this oven November 7th 2017 at Lowes. It was on sale and got free delivery. Delivered and installed it around 11/24/2017. This oven replaced a 19.5 year old Maytag Plus Electric oven because parts were no longer available. The installation was very easy. The installation manuals were easy to follow also. This oven is built very well and easy to operate. Some reviews talk about how noisy the cooling fan is. We can't here it running! I can't say anything bad about this purchase. If you are looking for a basic double oven this is the one!!!!

This oven is decent, it gets the job done. Food is cooked evenly and in the appropriate amount of time. There are a few things I wish they had improved on it, but they don't prevent it from operating correctly. First, as I had read in other reviews it has a noisy fan that runs and runs and runs. Not the worst thing in the world, just slightly annoying. Next, the timer feature is tricky to work, in order to stop it beeping you have to push cancel, which guess what that also does? It turns off your oven! Who puts things in the oven without setting a timer? It's a must! So an oven without a functioning timer is annoying. It got so frustrating that finally I bought a magnetic timer and stuck it to the side on the stainless steel. Now I can cook and bake without worrying I'll forget food in there! And finally, my biggest complaint is that this whole steam clean feature doesn't work nearly as well as I had hoped. After my first dish that bubbled over I was excited (yes, such a funny thing to be excited over) to get to test out the cleaning feature. It required a LOT of scrubbing and I still couldn't get it to look brand new again. I will say, it's a lot better than using harsh chemicals, but I wish it was as good as advertised.

I am so happy with my oven. It looks amazing and love all the baking options. Most oven glass is hot to the touch. What a nice surprise to find that the heat is that well contained that the glass only gets moderately warm.

I was surprised at how spacious the ovens are and the ovens are extremely easy to use and it looks great! I am happy with the way it bakes, roasts and broils. Overall, I am very happy with my ovens performance and appearance.However, the while I'm using my oven the internal fan runs continuously and is very, very noisy.At first I was actually confused by the fan running continuously as I knew this was not a convection oven… at least I didn't see and can't find anything in the manual that indicates this model is "Convection". Even after I am done using the ovens and the oven is turned off, the fan still continues to run for at least 15 minutes or perhaps a little shorter duration if I keep the oven doors open. . The fan is really, really noisy and very bothersome.As I stated, overall, except for issue with fan I am very happy with my ovens performance and appearance.

The ovens cook and clean wonderfully. Two things concern and annoy me: 1) the constant high-pitched whistling that accompanies each oven when it is on or cooling; and, 2) the fact that the vent at the bottom of the ovens is literally baking the drawer in the cabinet below the ovens. The knob on this drawer gets so hot that you can barely touch it. I did not have either of these problems with the Whirlpool ovens that this unit replaced.

This oven is extremely easy to use. It looks very sleek and shiny. It cooks well and is well regulated. However, while the oven is on, there is a fan inside somewhere "cooling the electronics" (according to the installer) that is very noisy, and after cooking is done and the oven is turned off, the fan continues to run for 15 minutes. It's unacceptably noisy.

Bought this double oven to replace original ovens in our home. Absolutely love the large glass windows on the doors. It makes it so easy to see inside. Interior of these ovens is nice and large - much larger than my original ovens. I can put two cookie sheets side by side on one shelf in this one.The only drawback is that the fan that runs when oven is on and when it is cooling down is quite noisy.

We've had this less than 1 month and it's still a learning experience. There are no bottom elements (at least that can be seen), only the top element. There are 2 pre-heat modes, fast and faster it seems (that's a plus). As soon as you turn the unit on, there is a fan that is pulling air from around the box and controls (to keep them cool I suppose) and blows out the bottom. Keeps your feet warm if nothing else. The fan is a lot noisier than I would have expected, but I suspect we'll get used to it now that it's installed. So far, baking is what you'd expect with a new oven - still working out the differences from what we had to what we have.The oven timer (not the cook time) seems to clear the oven temp for my wife sometimes. She swears she's not hitting the wrong button sequence and it's acted up on me so I need to carefully document the process to be certain it's the oven and not us.
