Finally a home appliance worthy of 21st Century!

By no doubt one of the most advanced appliances in the market. Despite some negative reviews which might be related to software upgrades our unit (touch wood) has been working flawlessly for couple of months now. The touch screen is easy to use, provide more information and more pleasing than any other wall oven and best of all it look worthy of an equipment for the International Space Station :)

DIDN'T MAKE IT 4 DAYS! 2nd review

My 1st review is not showing up or blocked. Screen out within 4 days....repaired...screen out again. Had less than one month! No real help from Whirlpool other than to send untrained techs. Now waiting on different appliance repair company.

Mediocre Software

Mostly Satisfied 2 6/17/2019

We have been using this about a month. The timers for the microwave and regular oven use the same format: hh:mm:ss but the regular oven doesn't use the seconds section which is not straight forward. We are already having to have it serviced because the control panel goes out and we have to reset it with the circuit breaker. When I used the steam cleaning function the oven dripped water out of the front almost the entire time. The service department was helpful in setting up the service call but the earliest appointment was two days out and the time window is 8 hours, so I may be waiting all day to get it looked at. The oven has no proofing setting and doesn't allow the temperature to be set low enough to do it manually. I would think this could be done with a software update. The instructions aren't clear on how the convection temperature versus conventional settings are accomplished when using the convection settings. The oven does preheat quickly even without using the rapid preheat function.

Looks great but failed after a week

We bought a new house with this appliance already installed. It looks great, but the touch display failed after a week! I'm glad we didn't choose whirlpool when considering new fridges. I saw another review where this also occurred. Not a good look when Whirlpool proudly displays "Made In America" stickers. Whirlpool, I hope you make some quality control changes in your manufacturing.

Frustrating don't buy a whirlpool

The unit features an Assist Cook feature but it causes any quantity of rice or pasta to cook for 4 hours and a couple of other problems. After 4 tech visits and countless hours on the phone with Customer Experience the unit was replaced with another one with the exact same problem. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and buy a different brand. There is something wrong with this product and customer service is a merry go round.

Quit working after a week!

Really liked the design and features of this product. Had it installed and worked well for a week. Now touch screen does not respond at all. Went off line and can not re-connect. Power cycled it too to no avail. Only sign of life is the light comes on in the microwave. Very disappointed in this purchase for our new kitchen.

Very disappointing

Our builder had this model recently installed in our new home. We have lived in the home 4 months. We noticed an issue in the microwave portion of the unit when you have it on convection cooking. For example, if you put something in to cook for 30 minutes, open the door to check it with 15 minutes remaining, close the door and push the resume button, the timer automatically resets to the original 30 minutes and start counting down from there. We had a service man come out and take a look at it. He contacted Whirpool and informed us that it was operating properly and that's how it was designed. Really!! It's so difficult for me to understand how any company would sell a product that does that. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get this situation resolved. I also wanted to share the experience I had with Whirpool so that hopefully no one else purchases a product like this.

Just got installed and the microwave is making a noise. Not a load noise but a vibration or rubbing. I talked to Texas Appliances where purchased, along with dishwasher. They gave me Whirlpool number. I've called a couple of times just to be put on hold and no answer. So after 15-20 minutes on hold I hang up. I have things to do myself. It is brand new and having a problem. I haven't been using microwave wanting someone to check it out. Maybe you can get someone out to my house to take a look at it so I can start using. Then maybe I can give a good review.

Can't Connect

I bought this unit and it's been installed for about 3 weeks. It generally works great, but I cannot connect to it remotely. Something happened to my account when I first attempted logging in, and it apparently broke the account. I've attempt to work with their team in this an multiple occasions, called multiple times, emailed, and even threatened to leave this bad review, giving them a few days. All to no avail, they don't seem to really want to fix my account. So, I have a neat, WiFi oven that I'm yet to be able to make use of the feature that I spent the extra money on. I hate to give challenging reviews, but I'd really like to be able to fully utilize the product I purchased. Waiting patiently. Sorry!
